Nathan Blankemeyer is a clinician-in-training completing his doctoral work in Clinical Psychology at Brenau University, where he also earned his M.S. in Clinical Counseling Psychology. His clinical experience spans inpatient, residential, community-based, correctional, and outpatient settings, giving him a broad perspective on mental health needs across levels of care.

Nathan currently provides psychotherapy at Pacifica Counseling and Psychiatry and serves with the Gainesville Police Department’s co-responder team, where he supports individuals in crisis, conducts mental status evaluations, and assists in bridging mental health care with community and law-enforcement systems. He has facilitated individual and group therapy for clients with serious mental illness and has developed a particular clinical interest in schizophrenia-spectrum conditions, bipolar disorder, co-occurring disorders, and major depression.

Grounded in a person-centered and ACT-informed framework, Nathan approaches therapy with curiosity, compassion, and collaboration. He is committed to culturally responsive practice, evidence-based care, and helping clients move toward lives marked by resilience, clarity, and meaningful change. Holly Blalock earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Augusta University’s Counselor Education program. She is a licensed Associate Professional Counselor (APC) in the state of Georgia and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Holly completed her clinical training at a private practice in Augusta, Georgia, where she worked with children, adults, and families across the lifespan. She has experience treating a wide range of concerns, including trauma-related disorders, reactive attachment disorder, adjustment disorders, depression, grief, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. Holly also works with families navigating particularly complex challenges, such as high-conflict divorce and parent-child reunification.

Holly takes a trauma-focused and insight-oriented approach to therapy. She identifies as a developmental theorist and works within an attachment-based framework. Holly has received specialized training in trauma treatment and has completed formal training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She offers EMDR as a treatment modality for trauma and trauma-related experiences, utilizing her extensive knowledge and clinical skills to support her clients’ healing and growth.

Dr. Desiree Frain, PsyD is a licensed clinical psychologist serving Atlanta and surrounding areas in providing individualized, evidence-based psychotherapy for a variety of mental health concerns. She completed her doctoral degree in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Dr. Hamid Shirazi is a fully licensed physician currently completing his psychiatric training at the Piedmont Macon Psychiatry Residency Program. He provides comprehensive outpatient psychiatric services for adult patients, working collaboratively with therapists to deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centered mental health care. Dr. Shirazi earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and holds an undergraduate degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His clinical interests include treatment‑resistant depression, anxiety disorders, sleep medicine, addiction treatment, interventional psychiatry, and the role of the endocrine system in psychiatric illness. Annalea “Annie” Sweat is a Master’s-level clinician who earned her M.S. in Counseling from the University of North Georgia. She completed clinical training at a private practice supporting adolescents and adults. She has extensive experience working with clients navigating ADHD, Autism, anxiety, burnout, low self-esteem, and life transitions related to identity, educational shifts, career changes, breakups/divorce, and grief.

She is passionate about working with teens and adults, the LGBTQ+ community, and neurodivergent individuals. As an international adoptee, Annie also has an interest in working with first- and second-generation immigrants struggling with identity and sense of self.

Annie’s therapeutic approach is rooted in client-centered and systemic therapy. She frequently draws from ACT, DBT, and MI. She also believes in holistic counseling, leaning into mindfulness, somatic work, and whole-body care to help individuals live fulfilling and authentic lives.
